Steep, Narrow, Loose Rock On Descent Rattlesnakes Full Sun.
One of the more underrated hikes in the area. Compressed into a small footprint: stunning canyon views, fascinating columnar basalt, wildflowers in spring. The descent is steep with loose footing — proper boots recommended. Climb back out is the workout.
