Central Oregon's elevation and low humidity make winter skies exceptional. Bring binoculars or just sit outside and watch. The Milky Way is visible on clear nights without needing a telescope.
The course doesn't close. Snow is rare, and when it comes, it melts fast. Winter golf here means rounds without the summer crowds, often on the same day you saw the morning frost.
Local restaurants and bars in the community stay open year-round. You'll see the same faces week to week—other extended stayers, staff, locals who know the canyon well. It's how friendships form.
Designed for the remote worker and the nomad alike. October and November monthly slots start booking by August. If you know you're coming, call ahead to pick your site.
Step 1: Call the Office — Reach out to 541-923-1441 to discuss your dates and site preferences. Let us know if you're returning or new.
Step 2: Reserve Your Site — We'll hold a site while you finalize dates. Deposit required to secure your booking.
Step 3: Complete Application — Standard application process. We ask for driver info, emergency contact, and acknowledgment of park rules.
Step 4: Move In — Check-in is 2 pm. Check-out is 12 pm. You're home for the season.
