Lava tube near Bend with year-round ice formations — even in summer there's a permanent ice floor. More rugged access than Lava River Cave (no improvements, no rangers), so it feels more like spelunking.

• Bring two flashlights and a helmet if possible.
• Floor is icy and slippery year-round; trekking poles help.
• Some sections require crawling — not for the claustrophobic.
